Youth
Led by Tony Rose our group has been active in L.T.C., A Christmas Gifts program (benefitting children whose parent are in prison), Rainbow Village, and church work days. Another area that receives a lot of attention is the Area Wide Teen Gatherings that are attended by junior high and high school students from around the OKC metropolitan area.

Rainbow Village
A program for young children focused on Bible lessons, memorization of Scriptures, singing, living daily as God's children and learning how to worship God acceptably individually and collectively.
Women's Groups
Our ladies meet on Wednesday night for a time of prayer and devotion. They study topics relevant to their lives and meaningful to their families. The group is open to all ladies, young or old.
We have a dedicated group that makes and delivers food to families that have lost loved ones.
Wednesday mornings are a time when a small group of our ladies get together to quilt. They have been quilting together for many years (and made many quilts). Some have been sold to finance other events.
Men's Groups
The men at Wilshire participate in worship, discussion classes and many work days (along with their wives) scattered throughout the year. We have usally try to schedule two retreats a year that allow our men time to relax and get away, for some personal time and devotion.
Life Groups
Members of the Wilshire congregation are assigned to small groups that meet regularly for fellowship, games, cookouts and trips. Our Life Groups are designed to encourage each other and help the members bond and really get to know other members of the church.

Missions
Wilshire has always had a strong mission commitment, and the program overseen by Walter Bryan and Howard "Hoppy" Hopwood are a continuation of that tradition. From spring break trips to Memphis, TN to summer missionary travels with the "Let's Start Talking" program, or Bill Westerberg's work in the Philippines, our members are actively concerned with sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ with the world.

Radio Ministry
Started by Herman Zeller and Germaine Lockwood, this ministry is a work participated in by dedicated members that produce short (15 minute) Biblically-based lessons in English, Russian, Chinese, and Vietnamese. These lessons are then distributed to shortwave facilities around the globe that transmit them into areas that are difficult to reach by traditional methods, or are just physically dangerous to those who would teach and learn about the Bible. These sermons reach millions every week - many more than could be reached by individuals or even teams of workers.
Contact our Radio/Involvement Minister to help support this work.
Visitation
The goals of the visitation ministry include: encouraging newcomers, personally greeting visitors, and helping new members become acquainted with other members. Those who participate in this ministry are assigned to teams which meet once per month to arrange visits. Additionally, the teams meet quarterly for a meal and fellowship.
